Kids In Motion |

"Wee Praise"-
Ages 1-3.
30 minute
Mommy or daddy and Me Creative Praise
dance class. Parents team up
with their child to help
introduce them to creative
Praise Dance Movements, rhythm,
and routines.
This class encourages
self-expression. Colorful props
(hoops, scarves, streamers,
etc.) are used. Children
develop motion, rhythm,
confidence and coordination
through fun, creative movement.

Blessed Ballet -Ages
4-8. 45 minute Ballet Class divided in half with
structured ballet warm-ups, basic positions, and simple
combinations. Two minutes free time dancing with ribbons
and Bible story time, Each child gets a Practice
Ballet Position Illustration Card with a sticker
evaluation section to help them practice and remember
proper terminology each week.

Praise On Pointe-Students
must be over 12 years old with several years of
training. Students must be evaluated by instructor and have teachers permission
to begin studies in Pointe.
students must also
demonstrate appropriate physical conditioning and passes
a written and technical examination on ballet
terminology, advanced skills and conditioning.
students will learn how to strengthen feet and ankles to
develop correct Pointe technique . this class
begins with a 30-minute
Barre warm up and center work applied.

.Majestic Modern Beg/Int.-
1 hour
class.
Students learn the fundamentals and vocabulary of
modern dance including combinations, Creative
movements and improvisation on creative themes.
Good posture, warming up, stretching, and warming down
are emphasized. It is recommended but not necessary that
you take a jazz and a ballet class to further
expand rhythmic, coordination, and creative skills.

Jazz For Jesus Jr.-
Ages 6- 9. 1 hour
class, stretches, barre work, isolations, fun, easy
steps and contemporary moves Glorifying God.
It is recommended but not necessary that you take a a
ballet class prior to this class to enhance coordination

10 and up. 1 hour class that focus on stretches, barre work, isolations and contemporary moves

skills, more complicated floor work, turns, leaps, and

Anointed African- 1
hour High impact class.
This
course introduces students to the study of African
Christian war
and praise dance moves. Focus is placed upon
geographical and historical understanding of the
Biblical development of Christian dance in the African culture.
(Such as, when Miriam took a timbrel and
led the Women out of Egypt with dancing).

Creative
movement- 1 hour class. This course will allow
students to explore movement possibilities using
creativity. No experience is necessary. This class will
use a combination of techniques; including (but not
limited to) modern and jazz. Students will also explore
spatial relations, movement patterns,shapes and form as
choreography takes place.

Mime In Motion-
1
hour class. The course provides
a great starting point for anyone wishing to understand
the use of the human body in communication and mime.
The student will understand the basics of body
positioning, character building, object identification,
coloration, and illusions (walls, walks, etc.). Students
will learn to mime biblical events, stories,
scriptures and Christian songs. course

Praise Aerobics-
1 hour class.
This fun, fast paced aerobic dance class
begins with a warm up and stretch, then moves into challenging dance routines. course

Devotion In Motion-
1 hour class.
stretching and strengthening exercises This class is excellent
for strengthening and building muscles. This class
is designed to empower you to endure physically
and spiritually.

Spoken Word Cafe / Drama-
1 hour class.
lyrics,
poetry, or stories are
dramatically spoken rather than sung. Spoken-word is
often done with a
musical background.
Students will learn how to write, speak, project and
dramatize Christian based poems, Lyrics, raps, short
stories, and skits. Once a month there will be a spoken
word cafe where students may have the opportunity to
share their work and witness to others through this
unique ministry. Students are required to bring
notebooks. course

Step -
Ages 10- adult. 1 hour class.
"stepping,"
is a dance form that combines elements of
military
drills( as a soldier
in Gods army) with contemporary
jazz
and
hip-hop
moves. In stepping,
the
body takes
the place of the drum as a person becomes the instrument
of praise for the Lord:
clapping, and stomping the feet produce the complex
rhythmic foundation for this dance style. In addition to
this array of bodily percussion, stepping also features
complex synchronized body movements,
along with reciting "The Word."

Holy-Hip Hop-
Ages 9-
adult.
This
is a contemporary complex style of dance done to
Christian rap music. It uses rhythmic movements
and isolations. It is a Christian version of urban
dance that is clean-cut, fun, and high
impact geared to reach this generation.
The Word In Motion Technique Beginners/Int
1 hour Adult Liturgical class
which last approx 1 year. No experience Necessary. Students are required to
bring notebooks.
The Word In Motion Technique Intermediate/Advanced-
1 hour Adult Liturgical class which last approx 1 year.
completion of The Word In Motion Beginners level is required or an
equivalent of experience and skills. (all equivalent
experience must be evaluated
by the instructor) Students are required to
bring notebooks.
Weapons of War and
Praise
1 hour class.
Beginner/Intermediate. Flag
twirling techniques.
